David Beckham decided to show his love for his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Adams, organizing a romantic getaway in a rented private island especially to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
The venue for the celebration was the exotic Necker Island, located in the archipelago of the British Virgin Islands, privately owned by Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Group chairman.
A source close to the couple said that "David was purchased from Victoria several gifts to make this time something special, but the greatest gift will be the holiday to Necker Island."
Richard Branson, owner of the island paradise was in charge of organizing the entire stay, including transfers and flights for the couple to enjoy an unforgettable holiday on the anniversary.
The couple, who has three sons, Brooklyn, aged 10, Romeo, 6, 4 and Cruz, married on July 4, 1999 in Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin.
Although the couple has always been accompanied by rumors of crisis and infidelity, David always said to be deeply in love with his wife, repeatedly expressing his desire to have a daughter.
"I want to have more children and I hope soon. I'd love to have a girl, would be great," said the player at one time.
